ECPW Rock & Wrestling takes over Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg on Jan. 19

Music and wrestling have long been intertwined, so for the first time ever, three local heavy metal bands and two underground rap artists will perform in between the high-flying, action-packed excitement of East Coast Professional Wrestling at ECPW Rock & Wrestling at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg on Friday, Jan. 19 at 6 p.m.

Get closer to the action with ringside seating or see it all from above in the balcony.

Tickets, which are $15 in advance or $18 the day of the show, are on sale now and available through the Sherman Theater box office (524 Main St., Stroudsburg), online at shermantheater.com and ticketfly.com, and all Ticketmaster outlets. VIP boxes and sky boxes are available for this show and include eight tickets (VIP box) or 12 tickets (sky box), a fruit and cheese platter, and waitstaff. To purchase box seats, call the theater at 570-420-2808.

The musical acts will be Poconos hardcore death metal Gravecrawler, East Stroudsburg/Bushkill melodic hardcore band own Verum Norte, Poconos hip-hop artist Afizhu, Stroudsburg melodic indie rock band The Crowning, and New Jersey horrorcore rapper I2L9.

Wrestlers scheduled to appear include former WWE Superstar Afa “Manu” Anoa’i Jr. taking on the Heavy Metal Maniac, Lucha Underground’s Ricky Reyes (a.k.a. Cortez Castro) versus Crazy Ivan, Tim Theory with T-Bird Robbie versus Lance Anoa’i versus “the Zombie King” Junior Flow, “the Reinforcer” Andrew Andreson (as seen on the hit FX TV show “Gotham”) versus Frankie Flow, and many more ECPW stars.

East Coast Professional Wrestling is a family-friendly sports entertainment company dedicated to delivering fans a unique blend of action that combines the best from wrestling’s past, present, and future. The ECPW training facility has been preparing individuals for the world of professional wrestling since 1991 and is one of the longest running professional wrestling schools, training wrestlers, referees, ring announcers, television commentators, managers, and valets. The ECPW training facility contains a 18×18 foot ring and a variety of weight training equipment within a 3,500 square foot building in New Jersey.
